Sarah Deragon is a Bay Area portrait photographer, creative entrepreneur, and founder of Portraits To The People. She specializes in working with people who hate having their photo taken.
Sarah works out of her photography studio in Sausalito, California, where she creates headshots, personal branding images, editorial portraits, team photography, and creative studio work for individuals and companies throughout the Bay Area.
Her studio gives her the flexibility to make work that can feel clean and classic, bold and colorful, polished and professional, or a little weird in the best possible way. She works with both natural and studio light, colorful backgrounds, simple setups, and more creative concepts depending on what the person or project needs.
Known for her signature Not So Corporate Headshots®, Sarah’s approach is relaxed, highly directed, and deeply human. She does not expect anyone to walk into the studio knowing how to pose or what to do with their hands. She gives people clear direction, keeps the energy moving, and creates an experience that feels much less painful than most people expect from a photo shoot.
