Meet Cass!
Marin Mini Sessions is Cassandra Jens, a lifestyle photographer based in San Anselmo. She photographs families, newborns, maternity and headshots all over Marin County and San Francisco. You might know her from Pitaya Photography. Same photographer, new name. She has been photographing local families since 2018.
Cass is a mom of three, and she plans every session around the people in it. Before you meet, she asks what you would most love to have photos of, and that becomes the list. At the start of the session she gives parents a few words to say to their family, so everyone knows what is happening before the camera comes up. After that, it's play. Parents have said it felt like hanging out with a new friend, and more like a play date than a photo session.
Newborn sessions happen in your home, in your baby's first weeks. No studio and no props. They run about 90 minutes, at your baby's pace.
Family and maternity sessions are about an hour, at home or outdoors at a spot you choose.
Seasonal mini sessions are offered throughout the year. They are 20 minutes, on a set date at a set location. Past and current spots include the redwood grove in Larkspur, downtown San Anselmo, Mount Tam views in San Rafael, the Golden Gate Bridge view in Sausalito, and the Palace of Fine Arts, Lovers Lane, Land's End and the Presidio in San Francisco.
Headshots are 30 minutes in natural light, outdoors, for LinkedIn, a website or a press kit.
Every gallery is delivered within a week.
Cass works with families in San Anselmo, Fairfax, Woodacre, Larkspur, Corte Madera, Mill Valley, Tiburon, Sausalito, San Rafael, Novato, Petaluma and San Francisco.
