Mini Anna Photography

Hi! I’m Anna, a Bay Area maternity, newborn, baby milestone, pet portrait, and family photographer. I have a waterfront photo studio in Sausalito but I also travel all over the Bay Area (and the world) for sessions. I want to be your baby’s lifelong auntie photographer.

I’m a proud single mom to seven babies: Bradley, my 11-year-old boy with the most contagious giggle; Mochi, our always-hungry rescue bunny; Cookie, our tripod kitten; Pepper, our kitten saved from euthanasia; two angel pets, Rocky and Marla; and one unborn angel baby I carry in my heart. Motherhood, in all its joy and grief, has shaped how I see the world and how I photograph it.

As a first-generation immigrant from Indonesia, with family halfway across the world, family love and connection means everything to me. Many of my clients return year after year, and watching their babies grow from maternity to newborn to big kid is truly the greatest joy of my career. When little ones run up to hug me at sessions, I know I’ve become more than just a photographer. I’ve become part of the family.
With over 20 years experience as a photographer and 11 years as a mom, I specialize in documenting growing families through maternity portraits, newborn photography, baby milestones, and annual family sessions. My sessions are relaxed, joyful, and stress-free. Babies and kids tend to love me. Maybe because I’m also mini-sized and that I love them so much.

I’m also a postpartum depression survivor and passionate about mental health advocacy. I know how fleeting and challenging the newborn phase can be. That’s why I believe preserving memories matters and I will do everything I can to make it easy for you.

I believe memories that I captured deserve to be printed, framed, and held. Science shows that recalling happy memories can trigger the same positive hormones as when we first experienced them. My son and I love flipping through our photo albums: laughing, sharing stories, and building new memories. I have so many core memories of us remembering past moments simply by looking at our photos. That’s the magic that I want to share with you.
