Hillary Jeanne Wells is a Marin County–based brand photographer with nearly a decade of experience creating thoughtful, powerful imagery for entrepreneurs and small businesses across Marin, San Francisco, and the greater Bay Area.
She specializes in strategic, website-forward branding imagery. She believes strong visual storytelling is more than beautiful photos — it’s about helping business owners connect with the right audience, elevate their brand presence, and confidently attract aligned clients. Having built her own business from the ground up, Hillary understands both the strategy and the soul behind impactful brand photography.
Her work is known for capturing natural, authentic moments with true-to-life color and a refined, magazine-quality aesthetic. Every session is custom-designed around each client’s unique brand, ensuring the final images don’t just reflect where the business is today, but where it’s headed. Hillary guides her clients through every step of the process, from selecting the right location and wardrobe to suggesting a prop list and trusted hair and makeup artists. The majority of the clients she works with are not professional models. She is known for helping people feel less awkward and more confident in front of the camera. By the end of a project, clients walk away with a curated gallery of intentional, stand out brand imagery.

When she’s not behind the camera or editing at her desk, she’s exploring the beauty of Marin with her husband and toddler, volunteering in the community, or visiting a favorite local bakery.
